dc.description.abstract | The literature pertaining to personal space and field-dependency is ambiguous with reference to the nature of the relationship between these two variables. The present study proposed to explore the possible relationship of personal space to field-dependency by comparing the performance of relatively field dependent and relatively field independent individuals on three personal space tasks. It was expected that the two groups would differ significantly on each task, and that subjects would demonstrate consistent space characteristics. | en_US |
