Abstract: This study quantified the loss of vegetation in Mission Marsh located within the city limits of Thunder Bay on the northern shore of Lake Superior, suggested the most likely cause of this vegetation loss, and examined in detail the source of nutrients in the water column along the Thunder Bay waterfront.
