dc.description.abstract | Chakra agroforests in the community of Verde Sumaco, Ecuador were surveyed to estimate tanager densities. Distance sampling using transects was the methodology used to record presence of tanager species. Using the data collected, tanager counts were entered into a program called Distance and tanager density was calculated for each individual chakra. The results from this study showed that chakras are suitable habitat for tanagers and provide ample resources required by each species. | en_US |
