Elderspeak : seniors' perceptions, estimated frequencies of receipt from different sources, and associations with self-esteem

Abstract

Community living seniors and nursing home residents (in Canada and the United States) were surveyed for their impressions of elderspeak (with warmth / superiority) and neutral talk from friends, family, & service workers.
