| dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this study was to examine factors considered likely to predict whether or not baby boomers are likely to age successfully. Data were obtained from a secondary analysis of selected items from a healthy aging questionnaire. Baby boomer responses were compared with those of the current generation of seniors. Significant differences were found in regards to exercise, life satisfaction and financial preparation for retirement. The study suggests that baby boomers will age successfully in part because of their tendency to score higher on measures of education and health. | |
