The present study was undertaken for the purpose of gathering objective information pertaining to the nature of the Ojibwa personality as well as investigating the role of the native personality structure in school performance. In addition, a questionnaire pertaining to boarding home habits was employed for the purpose of gathering data concerning the relationship between the houseparent and native boarder and to determine whether academically successful native students tended to come from a firm or permissive boarding home atmosphere.en_US
